'XXXXX' is Arca's first full-length album since the KICK series concluded in 2021.
The week before release, Arca presented 'Diva.Experimental', a two-hour livestream directed by Daniel Sannwald and styled by Akeem Smith. Staged inside an abandoned Barcelona factory, the production moved across seven distinct areas rather than settling into one static setup, including performances of unreleased album material, designed as a moving introduction to the album's world rather than a straight front-to-back recital.
XXXXX is a 16-track XL Recordings album
The record runs from 'No End' through 'Sueño' across 16 tracks. It follows the five-part KICK cycle and returns Arca to the full-length format after several years of singles, collaborations and other visual work.
The title also continues Arca's history of using repeated symbols as project names, while the music moves between club pressure, abstraction and more exposed vocal moments.
Diva.Experimental moved across seven locations
The July 23 broadcast aired from Barcelona on Twitch and YouTube. Instead of trying to recreate a conventional concert on a screen, the fragmented format treated the city, camera movement and visual styling as part of the album preview.

That distinction keeps the timeline clear: 'Diva.Experimental' introduced pieces of 'XXXXX' before release, while the finished album arrived separately on July 31 through XL.
For Arca, the visual and performance layers are still central to the project, but the record itself stands as a 16-track release rather than a document of one physical performance.
